Junior fundamentals – 7 to 10 year olds (Boys and Girls)

All 3 skill sets (batting, bowling, and fielding) are covered and is aimed at players who are new to the game.

Girls Development Program - Girls aged 10 - 16

  • Highly Qualified Coaches delivering the program

Term 1 Holiday Camps - January 2024

Age group: For boys and girls 6 years and up

Dates:   Monday13 January - Thursday 16 January 2024

Monday 20 January - Thursday 23 January 2024

Times:  9am - 12pm

Coaches:    Peter Drinnen + other qualified coaches.

Program:   All aspects of the game covered (Batting, Bowling, Fielding).

Where:  Valley District Cricket Club, Yoku Road, Ashgrove.


What to bring:                  

  • Cricket gear

  • Sporting attire (preferably whites) with wide brimmed hat

  • Water bottle

  • Sunscreen. 

  • Morning snack

Cost:                                 
$250 (12 hours coaching)
$70 per day (3-hour coaching)

What’s covered in the cost:

  • The participants will get a 4-day coaching program involving skill-based work along with game simulation opportunities delivered by qualified coaches. Ages 6 and up are all welcome.

  • Children can participate on 1 or more days.

  • All new participants will receive a Valley Cricket Academy Shirt and Cap.
